It's been a while...

It's been a whirlwind few weeks home; I've been trying to keep in touch with my ASPers that I miss so much, but also trying to reconnect with the friends that I missed so much while I was gone.

Dance was great last week! It was so great coming back to something that felt somewhat normal. It was also so amazing to see my girls, even though I haven't spent as much time with them as I have hoped to. And I also didn't think I did half bad in class, my first since the show.

Last weekend I spent an AMAZING four days with Ms. Cait Cunningham, one of my favorite and most missed ASPers. It was a crazy weekend, full of fun, sleep, and a nice dose of party. It was definitely hard leaving again, but I'll see her again next week. I can't wait...

Then I went up to Lake Winnepausakee on Tuesday and Wednesday with cousins. Got a lot of sun, but my arms KILL from all the tubing. It was a good time.

Thursday I hung out with Ms. Kolby! It was so great seeing her. But seeing her made me realize that everyone is leaving sooooo soon, and it makes me so sad to see everyone go.

Yesterday I hung out with more ASPers at Jenn's! It was Jenn, Conor, Kendra, Alex, and Helen. We hung out all day and swam around, plus a VERY akward roadtrip to see Isak. It's so great seeing them all.

This weekend I really have to start cracking on my AP work. I still have most of my english, two-thirds of my bio, and all of my calc. I really don't think the next week and a half is going to be all that fun.

So...I have some free time finally now to update my LJ again! I have to miss sports today because I acquired a little bit of sun poisening yesterday at the beach. I wore SPF 30 and applied it twice, but I completely missed all around my eyes and it's the worst sunburn I've ever had.

But the beach was so much fun with my ASP kids! I went with Emily (from Bow), Tory (from Dover), Beth (from Claremont), and Josh (from ?). They're all in my dorm, except for Josh. We just went and chilled at it was EXCELLENT. Then we went to Emmy's after for a home cooked meal FINALLY. We got to meet a few of her friends and it was awesome.

So I just finished my second book in a week. We've read Virgil's The Aeneid and Dante's Inferno. The Aeneid was rough, but I really enjoyed the Inferno.

We've had three major fun events so far:

Playfair was the Saturday of orientation weekend. It was the stupidest thing I'd ever done. It was a whole bunch of crazy get to know you games, and they were so corny, but I truly got to know a ton of people.

Then Wednesday was the square dance. I got to dos-i-do with Ross and my girlies! We all looked so damn cute decked out in the country wear, but it was soooo hot. Good time though.

Then Saturday night we had our first dance. Everyone got slightly down and dirty, but it was all in good fun.

I decided the other night that I want to speak in chapel too, I'm really amped for that!

The interns are excellent. We have three in our dorm (Katie) Fleishman (The Quest), Erica (Psychology), and Jamie-Lee (Writing Workshop). Erica is really cool and Jamie-Lee is super sweet. I really like Fleishman, she's tons of fun. And she's got a scratchy voice, which is so cute.

But it's time for homework! Don't forget I'll be home next weekend!

So this week I had such fun with the dance girlies! Tuesday night after I stalked everyone at rehersal, we went to see Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, which is such a great movie to see with your best friends. We all cried a little, except Taylor (she's tough ;) ).

Then back to my house where we played an excellent game of charades : P. Then Wednesday we went to the beach! It was really a nice day out, but then it rained a little, so we decided to head out. Then we came back to my house and went swimming at the campground. Tons of fun!

Then yesterday I said I was going to pack all day, but I didn't pack a thing. I woke up and went to help out with Margaret's little sister's pool party. It was such a nice day outside, but those kids were CRAZY. Then Taylor joined us, and we had a nice time. Then yet again, I went to dance a stalked them until they MADE me go home and pack. Which I didn't do.

So, after bawling the whole way home last night, I'm a little better this morning. I'm just sad/excited/tired/cranky all in one. This is my last entry from home. I love my friends from dance, and I'm going to miss them so much.

My life, in general....

I feel in this past week, I have gone through many important events in my life.

Last Saturday, many of my best friends graduated. That was weird. These are people I see everyday and have bonds to. Now I know I won't see a lot of them ever again.

Sunday was the LION KING! The show went really well, with a few glitchs. Then after that we all mosied on over to T Bones, where we had a ton of fun. It was sad realizing that Ali would never dance with us the same again...

And then there was Ali's graduation last night! It was so nice and exciting, we were second row so we were so close to Alison! It was hilarious....the audience kept throwing bouncy balls, beach balls, and toilet paper to the graduates. Afterwards, we went to Ali's for the after party. It was really nice and fun. I ended up spending the night, we were up so late. I skipped A C and E block and just went in for pre-cal. I was so wiped.

An anniversary of my father's death, class day, and NO DANCE all ont he same day. This one sucked.

I feel like I'm losing people all around: to college, to death, dance being over, school being over, missing out because I'm headed to St. Paul's.

And I can't stop thinking about how much I'm going to miss Ali, Molly, and Kolby. Already.

Life in general....

So....awards night last night sucked. I was just really emotional, and all my friends were sitting in the special kid seats and I was late. I was just crying, and no one to hug but my mom and she doesn't get it. After Kolbs asked me how I was, and I started crying. Then Ross did the same, and I could feel the tears welling up, but I held it in. But then I smacked my ear on my window getting into my car and I just started bawling...the whole way home. Shit just never ends....

On the upside, I did have a nice Memorial Day weekend. Saturday night I saw Star Wars, and we went to Shortys and King Kone....and did Hakuna Matata in the parking lot! Then we cleaned my room, my goodness. It took 8 hours and 4 people, but 23 bags of garbage and 8 Fudgesicles later we got through it. Ali made excellent cheese omelets for us. Then we hit the gym, where I ever so smoothly locked my keys in my car. Monday I had rehersal, where I locked my keys in my car again, this time though they were in the ignition...with the car on the whole time. Smooth.

Dance is getting exciting, and dress rehersal next Wednesday. Show is Sunday the 12th...it's still not to late to let me know if you want tickets or not....

School is almost over....

Last Saturday was really nice, me and Ali, Margaret, and Taylor went to Plymouth State to watch a dance show, because Ali got a scholarship there. The show wasn't great, but we had a blast! Afterwards, I went to Marge's to see her prom dress, and it was beautiful and she looked beautiful in it.

Sunday was my grandfathers service. It was SO overwhelming, also considering I had such an emotional week as well. My cousins girlfriend and I ended up just leaving early and going to their apartment and eating mac and cheese and taking a nap. It was a good ending to a rough day.

I've been really emotional lately, so if I start crying, it really isn't your fault; don't worry about it.

I have a really bad chest cold, and I haven't been getting enough sleep lately.

Dance is getting crazy, but fun. We're well on our way to a great show.

Speaking of dance...I picked what I'm doing for my senior project! I'm going to do choreography! I'm really excited! I already have Margaret and Nikollette for volunteers...let me know if you want in!

Rehersal tomorrow, and brunch with Nikki! Hoping for a good weekend...

I don't know whats going on.

I have never felt more alone in my entire life. I have about three peope at school that I feel actually care about my life. I feel like I shouldn't still be complaining about my life though.

Yesterday it was, hell, 4 MONTHS since my father died. It just hit me on mother's day that he didn't have to die. He SHOULDN'T of died. The doctors made such a huge mistake and didn't acknowledge to save their own asses, at the expense of my father's life. He should be here with me right now....I need him so much.

And though I need him the most, I need my friends. I feel like I can't just come out and tell people, "Hey my life sucks, maybe we can hang out sometime and I could just complain to you." I don't want to be a burden for anyone.

So until someone offers to listen to me piss and moan for a few hours, it's all inside and hurting like hell.

SO...

My amazing vacation with my amazing family was cut short by yet another death in the family. My grandfather died yesterday morning, probably from a stroke. This is the third death in my family in three and a half months.

Honestly...all I ask is why me? What did I do to deserve this? If anyone knows, let me know, because I need to stop doing whatever it is.

So the next week or so will be making arrangements yet again, and feeling this pain even deeper.

I'm glad my friends love me. Honestly, I wouldn't be able to go on anymore without you.

Tonight Ms. Ali invited me over. We had Dunkin' Donuts, Ben & Jerry's, $5 pizza, and Diet Coke all in the same night. It was amazing, and exactly what I needed. And we watched 'Closer,' which was incredibly racy. I still don't get it. And we got hit on by the creepy boy at Blockbuster.

Nothing to exciting in the past few weeks. A huge happy 18th birthday to Ms. Ali! Love you...

Lately I've been crashing and burning. I feel so damn lonely; with the exception of one wonderful person at school, I feel like all of my friendships are completely gone. Have a lost all of my fun? No one wants to hang out anymore, and I don't talk to anyone like I used to.

Grades are slipping too, but third quarter has sucked quite a bit for me. I actually feel like I'm doing quite well under the circumstances.

I know I haven't updated in the past...oh....week and a half. Nothing really exciting has happened.

I felt like I had a decent week at school/dance. A big birthday shout out goes to Ms. Caitlin! School was nice; Ms. Smith had her baby so she won't be around for a bit, so we're stuck with Mr. Roy.

One thing this week that's been different about all other weeks lately is that I've been HAPPY. I haven't been happy in so long, and I honestly think just getting into St. Paul's gave me hope that there still really is good in this world. I guess you could say that I have a newfound optimism.

...but not only for myself and my family, but now for my friends.

I have probably been the most emotionally challenged person lately, and not for a lame reason I don't believe. But lately I've found that some of my friends are going through rough patches, and I either hear about them from someone else or read about them online. Either people just don't want to talk to me, or people think I'm too fragile right now to carry anything else on my plate. This is hard, because I usually pride myself on my ability to talk and help my friends, which I feel like I'm failing at right now. And I might be crazy lately, but I'm still hear to listen, love, and give all the feedback I can on any problem any of my friends have. This is the most I can do for a friend, and most of you have done this for me sometime in the past couple months, which I cherish completely.

On a lighter note, we did great at competition this weekend. Despite music issues and the illness of Margaret, we ended up holding our own, and I walked away with four 1st awards! I'm proud of every single one of you.
